- Analytics and advertising partners (Google, Meta)
- Shipping carriers
- Resellers and retail partners that stock our products
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfil orders, including arranging shipping and handling returns
- Create and manage your account
- Communicate with you about orders, customer service, and our products
- Send newsletters and marketing emails (where you have opted in)
- Improve our products, Site, and customer experience
- Personalise content and product recommendations

We will only use your information for the purposes described in this Policy or for purposes you have consented to.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. The main categories we use are:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the Site to work (e.g., shopping cart, checkout, account login).
- Performance and analytics cookies — Google Analytics and Google Site Kit help us understand how visitors use the Site.
- Functional cookies — remember your preferences, such as items in your cart.
- Advertising and social media cookies — Google Ads, Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and similar tools help us show relevant ads on third-party platforms and measure their performance.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu (for EU/UK users).
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no industry-wide standard for honouring it, we do not currently respond to such signals.
5. Payments
We do not store full payment card details on our servers. Online payments are processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe), which collect and process card information in accordance with their own privacy policies and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). We receive only confirmation of the transaction and limited information needed to identify your order.
6. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and our business — web hosting, payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery, analytics, and advertising. These providers are contractually required to protect your information and use it only for the services they provide to us.
- Retail and distribution partners, where necessary to deliver an order or honour a promotion.
- Legal and safety reasons — to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests from authorities, enforce our Terms & Conditions, or protect the rights, property, or safety of IAL, our customers, or others.
- Business transfers — if IAL is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7. International Transfers
Caribbean Baby is operated from Trinidad and Tobago, but our service providers may be located in other countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the European Union. When we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection.
8. Children’s Privacy
Caribbean Baby creates products for children, but our Site, marketing, and online services are directed to adults — parents, guardians, gift-givers, and educators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at letters@caribbeanbaby.com and we will delete it promptly. Users between 13 and 17 should only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
9. Data Retention
We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes set out in this Policy, including to fulfil orders, provide customer support, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information
- Deletion — request that we erase your information, subject to legal exceptions
- Restriction or objection — limit how we use your information
- Portability — receive your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent
- Opt out of marketing communications — at any time, by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us
To exercise any of these rights, email letters@caribbeanbaby.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information.
EU/UK residents: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have not handled your information lawfully.
11. Marketing Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter or opt in to marketing emails, we’ll send updates about new products, promotions, and Caribbean Baby news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by emailing letters@caribbeanbaby.com. Transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates) are not marketing and will continue regardless.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms and retail partners. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.
13. Security
We take reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice (such as a banner on the Site or an email). Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
